Originally from London, England. Moved to France 2 years ago and bought a 400 year old farmhouse in 6 acres. We live here with 7 cats, 5 dogs and 2 donkeys, with plans to add chickens, sheep and a pig or two at a later stage.

Our eventual aim is to be as self-sufficient as possible (this would also please the bank manager!). Reccling and frugality ideas are particularly interesting to us after spending so many years in the throw-away culture of a major city. I just get such a kick out of inventing a new use for a piece of trash!
