I am old enough to know better than to do the earthmoving and rock toting that I do but I can't seem to help myself.
I spend 6months in Fla. and 6 in Ga.
I tote my thirty orchids to and fro, I rake leaves in both places as I live on a lake in the woods in Ga. and I planted several oaks and mahogany trees in Fla. These keep me raking and composting leaves all the time .I have two aging black labs and a great husband who can build most
anything for the garden that my fertile mind can concieve.
I never met a plant I didn't like or a rock I couldn't find a home for.I forego chemical solutions to problems and encourage the birds and butterflies to share my garden space
