Mostly a backyard birder but live where water and shorebirds are plentiful. Home is in a rural, Pine Flatwoods area and have seen 43 species of birds in my backyard. Am very close to the southern tip of Lake Kissimmee. Favorite "big name" place within driving range is Merritt Island, next is Sanibel.

My garden focus is mostly on perrennials, shrubs and trees. Also "garden" in pots. Home is surrounded by deer, deer, and more deer.

Have also just gotten into woodcarving songbirds and shorebirds. Producing more chips than carvings right now but that will (hopefully) change.
