I am a San Francisco Bay Area kitchen designer, working out of my home office. My office window looks out on my garden which calls to me constantly.
I discovered roses four years ago and now have 20-odd different ones. I am very fond of climbers and have seven growing on the fences surrounding my yard. Most of the rest are floribundas. I try to concentrate on varieties that are disease resistant, though I have found that even those need to be sprayed verey week.
I also grow perennials and shrubs in my garden and decorate the fences with whimsical items I have collected.
We feed birds and squirrels and try to keep the cats away to protect our little friends.
