Trying to learn to live off the land. Having a hard time because I live next to a forest, at 900ft elevation, and under cloud cover about 50% of the time. I'm on a mountain, about 1 hour drive inland from the coast. It's beautiful here, but offers challenges that I don't read about in the usual garden books. Very much appreciate this web site.
