I have an entire property to develop and am a bit overwhelmed. I have a mixture of shade (from oaks and maples), deep shade, morning sun, and full sun throughout the property. Thus far I have planted some largish foundation shrubs (e.g., junipers), some smaller plants (e.g. cottoneaster), and herbs. I also have a thriving star magnolia and two camellias, and I am attempting to root a cutting from a stunning, very old camellia that will soon be torn down next door.
