I was born on a multi-product farm in south central Louisiana (Cajun Country)and could not wait to get to college so I could escape the hard work. I succeeded and have longed for the early days ever since. My wife and I have always managed to have a vegetable garden and lots of flowers around our home no matter where we lived. Composting is a passion with us. We have become very adept at changing most organic substances into good compost and consequently changing poor suburban clay to rich organic soil.
