My partner and I recently bought almost 700 sq'in Mitcham and have just begun to work on my great vision ... fruit tress and vege patch in the backyard and an australian native one in front.
Currently the site boasts two magificent deciduous trees as yet inidentified, a screen of six young and one older silver birches.
Everything else is lawn.
I am researching crop rotation, companion planting and permaculture.
