My fiance and I moved here to southwestern North Dakota in March of 2000. We are still discovering the details of our landscape and microclimates. We need some plants for the front of the house, which faces West and gets very hot in summer; and the north side, which has a weeping willow and another large I've forgotten the name of. This area gets sun in the late afternoon, so typical "shady" plants might not work here. Any and all suggestions about gardening are welcome!
