Retired Government engineer/program manager, but flunked retirement & went back to work part-time because I enjoy the work. Love spending time outdoors on our farmette (9 acres), gardening, jogging, weightlifting, hiking, reading. My favorites to grow are flowers for cutting, attracting butterflies & hummingbirds, tomatoes, and a few herbs.

I am enjoying the gardenweb, especially in having loads of personal experience & opinions at my fingertips, but I also love the humor in some of the stories shared. I'm always looking for good gardening advice.
