I am fairly new to country living and am learning to grow and "put up" vegetables. My husband, Don, and I most often plant perennials - especially daylilies - as we try to keep our flowerbeds kind of "low maintenance." We still think we can keep 12 acres as neat as a subdivision lot and are failing miserably - but having fun trying.

Thankfully, we have learned a lot from the GardenWeb Forums. It's nice talking and sharing info with all of you.
