Living in an apt. with South facing balcony AND windows after years in apts. with no windows at all or very little light--can finally grow things for the first time in my adult life! I'm a native Midwesterner and hoping to recreate as much of my favorite childhood gardens as possible...very much a novice gardener, though, so I need all the help I can get! Hoping to tap into some of my grandma's green thumb somewhere deep in my veins. :-)
