We have been working on our waterfall, stream, pond, patio, and landscaping project for 3 years. We're finally finished and have now decided to take up all of our lawn to establish a new garden - we want a tropical look. This will be a difficult since we live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (Zone 5)- also known as the Ottawa Valley - and yes, because we're in a valley it gets much colder here than in other areas in Ontario. Any suggestions on plants such as Castor Beans, etc. would be most welcome.
