My mother has been a gardener for her whole life. I mostly just ignored her until 4 years ago. WOW - what a mistake - all that know-how just going to waste. Since she is retired - she is so kind to me and starts seeds and plants off for me. Now I'm starting that phase as well. I used to be a "go to the garden centre and plant" type person but now am looking for different paths. Great to see so much knowledge here. You people are full of great ideas!!
When I trade seeds I might throw the whole flower head in or some chaffe slips in. My hands shake so bad that its not possible for me to send completely cleaned seed. What I lack in tidiness, I make up for in generosity --I always send lots of seed in a packet unless its says different. If this is a problem for you, please trade with others.
