I was an avid gardener for a lot of years and then I was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension and that put me "out to pasture" for the last two years. But I am now doing better and am back to gardening at a new homesite which has nothing! I did transfer a lot of my flowers into rows in the garden and I am now starting to put things in beds and order trees, bushes, etc. Would love to talk with anyone in Iowa who loves to flower garden. One thing I brought with me was fernleaf peonies which I am very proud of. I have a pond in front of our house; anyone done much pond plantings. This will be something totally new to me.
