I have just moved to a new home in Ottawa, Canada, after spending 5 years in the herb paradise of the UK - it might not have had a lot of sun, but herbs seemed to flourish there, even of the mediterrean variety. Right now, its the end of March and there is half a foot of snow on my large lot. I cant wait until the spring thaw so I can plant my burgeoning windowsill nursery of perrenial herbs!
