We have an old house on a small lot but looking right at the Delaware R. where Gen. Washington made the crossing. Lots of shade, and we just had to have half the yard dug up to install a new septic system. I am looking on a sea of mud. Also, our oldest daughter's wedding is next October, with the reception right across the river in a building I can see from my window through the trees. Some of the guests will expect to come back to our house afterwards. I have to get some "quick fix" gardening done!
Oh yes, and we are also getting a new kitchen & bathrooom, and roof, before the wedding.
I love hostas & roses & hollyhocks & the deer eat everything anyway.
