I'm a container gardener in Dallas, TX. My collection of herbs and fruits (two Mexican limes, a tangerine and a Thai pepper) rotate seasonally between the west-facing windows in my apartment and the patio and I'm looking forward to starting portulacas in new windowboxes this spring.

I enjoy needlework, sewing, weaving and painting in my spare time (not that I have much with a four-year-old, heh) as well as reading, keeping the footnotes to my life on LiveJournal, and singlehandedly keeping my local fabric store hopping. My current \"big\" projects are the Bucilla cross-stitch kit New World Discovery, creating a cosplay costume of Jet Black from Cowboy Bebop, and reading David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest.
