I live in a desert steppe down the hill from Lake Tahoe. My hobby is growing cacti; mainly Echinopsis hybrids and Notocactus because I love the flowers. I also grow hardy cacti outside. I also like to vegetable garden, but it is a challenge with my short seasons and all the wild critters I have running around.
