We bought our own place in 2001 and set out on a voyage of landscaping discovery. I shifted a shit load of WA dust and replaced it with fertile stuff, restructured the beds and planted to attract the birds in. I am afraid my technique is a bit like gardening by attrition i.e. if it survives it stays.
Anyway it is now looking reasonably good and my main project is reducing the size of the kikoyu lawn (bloody stuff would grow in a vacuum and getting some feature shrubs in.

I live in: Australia

My zone is: WA Aust
