We live on 14 acres of rural land in northeastern wisconsin. Its a mix of lowland and highland, with open and wooded areas. A small stream runs through part of it. There are suitable habitats for a wide variety of plants. Currently we are trying to establish as many of the native flowers, grasses, shrubs and trees as time permits. Native bees are another interest, and we put out nesting blocks for the native mason bees (osmia lignaria).
