We own a 1910 Craftsman house in Pasadena and are re-landscaping with a slightly Asian flavor. I like red or burgundyleaf colors, large urns and Nandina. We are putting in lots of flagstone and a brimming urn fountain. We also have a dozen fruit trees, including nectarine, kumquat, orange and lemon. the place is a mess right now, but we hope it will be much improved after our phase 1 and 2 of re-landscaping. It's a large property overlooking the Arroyo-Seco, so there are lots of river rocks and live oaks. I enoy rock gardening and container gardening.
