Hello everyone!
I live in a small rural town in southwestern Montana. Gardening can be quite a challenge as the growing season is very short and my husband & I live out of town where the wind can really blow! We have a black lab, Jake, who in hindsight we should have called "Digger!" He loves to excavate gopher holes...now if I could just train him to dig my gardening holes we would be set! I have planted quite a few own root rose bushes since we moved to our present home two years ago. People think I am crazy but time will tell. I love to play in the dirt and hope to add a vegetable garden next summer. I have also tried winter sowing this month for the first time.
