I love to grow herbs and perennials, with a few cottage garden annuals thrown in. I don't have good luck with any food plants, tomatoes esp, they never get ripe here in my Michigan garden! Herbs, edible flowers, and salad greens are about the only "crops" I grow. Blue and purple are my favorite garden colors, along with lime and silver -- then I have a few orange blooms for contrast. These colors in the garden compliment my sage green house with it's bright orange door. Loved gardening since I was a child; and I worked at a greenhouse for six years during high school and college.
