I'm in the middle of the country, the gateway to the west. With only a 1/4 acre & 9 trees now, it is hard to find any space to grow anything new. My sister lives down the street. I have began filling her backyard-blackberries, blueberries & containers of sweet potatoes. I planted a dwarf Harlayne apricot tree next to the Jonathan apple tree this year. I even planted my neighbors apricot tree that I talked her into planting for cross pollination. Daylilies fill a lot of the flower beds. My small veggies garden is tomatoes, pimientos & sometimes radishes, lettuce & cucumbers. I have black raspberries & strawberries, 2 figs, a banana & pomegranate tree. (More for me to overwinter in the garage.) I started alot of my plants from seed this year. I forgot how much work that was!!! But I was so excited to see the first flowers on my Sungold tomatoes.
