I recently to Honesdale, PA over a year ago after living in Clifton, NJ for over 50 years. The City of Honesdale has been described by visitors as resembling a Norman Rockwell painting. I totally agree. It resembles the town of Mayberry in many respects; frozen in time with its storefront police station. You almost expect to see Andy and Barney strolling down the street. It is the America I remembered as a child, the America I have gone back to with its traditional values and affordable housing.

I Like: Tinkering with anything especially OPE, woodcrafts, electronics, computers, landscaping, repairing anything, guns, old stereo equipment, painting with oils, archeology, paleontology, I watch anything on cable that is educational on almost any subject especially history and science. No modern sitcoms. No modern movies...just the old classics.
