Hi!

I grew up in northern wi, near the u.p. border, and have been in love with plants since I was a kid. I worked toward a double major in biology and forestry at UW Stevens Point, and my love is plant ecology. I work as the aquatic invasive species (AIS) Coordinator for Oneida County and love protecting our lakes and rivers!

Our basement is a virtual greenhouse come wintertime, while our backyard becomes our summer retreat. I revel in the hard to germinate, the odd, and the unusual in the plant world.

To me the greatest enjoyment is starting from seed, and having that plant be part of your world in the future.
