Blue birds are my passion. I just love watching them and feeding them mealworms. I watched three fledgings this year. WOW what a joy.

My second passion is my flower gardens. I have gone to mostly perennials over the last few years. I also like to plant annuals in pots. Getting too much arthritis in the hands to do much weeding.

I live in the northern panhandle of WV, so when spring comes I get excited. It is usually a long winter.

My husband's passion is his garden. We do alot of canning and freezing. It is well worth it. I make my own spaghetti sauce, etc. We also tap maple trees. Nothing better then maple syrup on ice cream or belgium waffles.

My husband and I had our own business for 42 years. Our daughter now owns the business.

Our vacation every year is going to Canada to fish. I have three grown daughters and they prefer Canada to the beach.
