Residing in SE Texas Houston area and have lived all over the US except North Central States. Favorite gardening area is San Diego with almost perfect weather. Worst has been Houston area with fire ants and heat and simply awful St. Augustine grass with bugs. Love the Texas wildflowers. I have good luck with roses and herbs and a gardener comes once a week to make it happen.
