I love growing plants, indoors and out. After giving up on African violets 25 years ago (they never bloomed for me), I have become interesed in them recently and have been successful getting them to bloom. Along with AVs, hoya, aeschynanthus, and schlumbergera and other tropical cactus are my favorite indoor plants. I never buy full size plants--I love the challenge of rooting them and getting them to survive to maturity and bloom. Outdoors, I have an acre of yard that I have been landscaping/gardening for over 15 years. I like combining native plants with cultivated plants in my landscape.
