We have a Victorian house and garden on a quarter acre lot in a quiet neighborhood of an enormous city. Our research has shown us that before Victorian times, the land hereabouts was used as a celery farm, which explains the good tilth of our soil, perhaps. Our biggest challenge is sun: getting enough light. Our favorite flowers: English delphiniums, antique roses, oriental lilies.
