I grew up on a farm (child labour dontcha know) and had to coddle and nurture those horrid things that would eventually end up on my plate and gag me. Funny how I didn't mind coddling a few veggies in containers this yr. I had peas in window boxes! None of the peas made it into the house, they all got eaten right there.

So flowers it is! I love blue flowers but am coming to appreciate that they are kind of invisible all by themselves. So I'm opening my heart to pink (but not bright or dark pink), yellow, and white. Even orange!

Quite an obsession this is! My family and friends think I've lost it.
