I am a long time rose grower, and grow hybrid teas, tea,hybrid rugosas. Just 4 of my roses are climbers.
I am a 66 year old retired teacher and take joy out of growing roses and orchids. I do spray my roses with Manzate and Cleary's 3336 for black spot and mildew. As I live on the water (lagoon), this is fungus heaven.
As I am not getting younger I want to replace some of my roses with varieties that are strongly black spot resistant and are continuous bloomers. So far Robusta, Linda Camnpbell, and Knock Out are my best. From recommendations of other contributers to the Rose Forum I will plant Lavaglut, Lafter, Carefree Sunshine, Antoine Rebe, Cramoisi Superieur, and others. I much enjoy reading and learning from this web site. Sincerely..Tom
