Hi! I'm Cheryl or otherwise known as the gardening addict of the family. Thats what they say to my face. I have a 10 acre parcel that I have been gardening on in Plainwell,Mi for about 20 years now. Kids finally grew up so I have been pursuing it ardently for the past 2-3 years. It is definetly a work in progress. My passion is hostas, any and all but I also have a wide variety of daylilies,asiatics, sedums, ground covers,irises and a few ferns. I also have a real passion for spring bulbs. It's October now and I am in the midst of putting 2-3000 of them down. I am more passionate about them in the spring and at this time am more than ready to retire my trowell and bulb setter for the season. Ah alas though when the snow begins to fall and the ground is white I will be dreaming of those emerging bulb with anticipation and when they bloom and begin to dwindle hostas will begin to emerge with all there glory and the season begins again.
I am also in the process of putting in a pond with a stream. Minimum 3-5 year project but just think of all the hostas I can add!!!!!
