I live in southern Fairfield County, and am in the process of renovating a 3 1/2 acre property which was a garden in the 20s and 30s but then suffered a number of years of neglect. I have been mostly cutting things back (and chopping them down!) and contending with massive amounts of poison ivy...But the garden has great bones - a woodland area, a pond and bog, several hundred feet of river shoreline, as well as stone garden paths built by Italian stonemasons in the 20s. Needless to say, there is a lot to be done, and most of it by myself, with a lot of trial and error! I am trying to plant a lot of native species and to keep it a "wild" garden, for the most part. I am just getting interested in collecting and propagating from seed.

I live in: United States

My zone is: z6CT

My favorite forum 1 is exseed.
