Hi, My green thumb was originally quite brown. Out of necessity, I started growing a few plants under lights in the basement. This is my 7th year and I now produce about 800 plants a year. I've learnt alot from my mistakes. I am now playing with hybrids. You can get some amazing results if you keep trying. I give away about 50% of my stock. I have since added a small plastic greenhouse in the yard. Most of my seeds are collected from the gardens, and the rest I order from seed catalogs. What started out of necessity has turned into a hobby that I love. It sure chases away the winter blues! By the way, I live in Ontario, Canada, and I am single and loving it.
