We've been living and working in Oman for 14 years although Australia is our home. I love gardening and have a large garden. Both my husband and I are keen gardeners and find it amazing that we are able to get so many different types of plants and trees here in a desert location.
Our children are grown up and have flown the nest so we have plenty of spare time to pursue our hobbies.
The biggest problem we have with gardening here in Oman is keeping everything alive through the hot months (May - October) when the temperature can reach nearly 50 degrees Centigrade!
