My husband and I bought a 50+ year old home in the middle of a remodel and addition of a second level about 5 years ago...a 14 room house and 6 of the original 7 rooms need drywall work and we had 8 rooms that have never heard of drywall...lol We really bit off a mouthful, but seem to be weathering the storm quite well. We lived in the house the entire time and that was a challenge all its own!! We gutted the entire house and now have all but the laundry room completed. Its been a true labor of love...;-) I love reading all the comments on experiences others have had while enduring a remodel. We are both computer technicians and really enjoy the Computer Forums, as well.
