I love to be in my garden and feel most complete when I’m there. It’s the place where I feel "connected" to what is really real in this world. It’s a natural garden...so all life forms are welcome here.
Sometimes the bad bugs get ahead a bit...and then the good bugs move in and the bad bugs are gone. I allow Mother Nature to rule in my garden...I figure she knows what she is doing and I just try to follow her examples.
I grow beautiful healthy black spot free roses totally organic... and I have been "challenged" by people who use chemicals on their roses...and so now I try not to comment about spraying..etc.
People choose to believe what they believe and I don’t garden in order to argue with other gardeners. :)
"To each his or her own".
I will grow my gardens organically and I won’t kill insects or any life forms that inhabit my gardens. They have a purpose here ...or they would not be in my garden. I believe in Karma...and I believe in Karma in the garden. Another subject not open for discussion.

I share my home with 5 cats (three of them are rescues) and 2 dogs who are like our children to me. I have raised my family and they are all secure now in their own lives, and I have time now for me. Gardening with roses is what I love most of all....but I try to plant things that my hummers and butterflies enjoy as well.
I have entered a few rose shows and have won blue ribbons, but I mainly garden just for the love of it....and to enjoy feeling a closeness to my creator.
My gardens are all natural and I make lots of compost...I love doing that as well.
It’s so nice to be able to "hang out" with other gardeners and make a few new flower power friends.

" I shall pass this way but once. Therefore, any good that I can do or any kindness that I can show, let me do it now.....
for I shall not pass this way again."

A human being is a part of the whole, called by us Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest-a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty. ~ALBERT EINSTEIN
