I live in Sunny Central Oregon with a beautiful view of the snow covered Cascade Mtn range. The high desert is a wonderful place to live. My community of 8200 neighbors lies in a small lush valley under the rimrocks above. I grow hardy herbaceous perennials and opium poppies on my small city lot. I buy my perennials mainly mail order as there isnt a local market for the speciman plants I want. I retired from state service in 2003 after 28 years of working in the human services field. I have spent the past three summers in my yard with the sunshine on my back. Life is good. ***I use bubble envelopes and 53 cents in postage to ensure the safe arrival of my seeds and ask my traders to use the same
