I love gardening, but I've never been very good at it. I've always said I'm the only person I know who could kill a plastic plant. Hopefully with all of the experts' advice I can get here, I'll be getting better results and putting far fewer of my mistakes into the composter.
I've been teaching elementary school for 30 years. Sometimes ripping out those weeds can be very cathartic after a day with 27 nine-year-olds.
I have four dogs who love to chase the squirrels through my yard. Do you think that could be a contributing factor to my many failed attempts to actually GROW something?
I like to feed the birds and try to plant with that goal in mind.
My backyard/garden is on a very steep slope and I have spent many hours building retaining walls to give me a place to actually plant stuff!

I live in: United States

My zone is: z6 norVA

My favorite forum 1 is Growing from Seed.

My favorite forum 2 is Growing under Lights.
