I love bamboos and ornamental grasses, cutting flowers, homegrown tomatoes, sunsets and walks on the beach (no, wait, wrong venue...). Bought a house 6 months ago with great hardscaping, but we want to redo the some of the plantings. Out come the gardenias, in go the bamboos. And it all has to be tough enough for the resident dogs.
