Was a hort student back in the 70's. Dabbled with various plants off and on, mostly aquatics. Got back into outdoor gardening at the end of 2004. Started a bunch of veggies from seed and moved them outside after last frost. Using modified square foot gardening and high-intensity planting techniques, the yields were great -- and the flavors worked well in the kitchen. Currently I am working with fruits, veggies, tomatoes, peppers, salad greens, and a number of flowers. It's been a fun and rewarding hobby.
