Hello-I'm your typical GardenWeb gardening enthusiast in process of replacing all the turf in my yard with ornamentals. My garden is a work in progress as I'm continuously moving things around and with 1 acre there's a lot to do anyways. My focus is on hardy tropicals as I'm trying to grow things such as bamboo, banana trees, palm trees, and other plants that make a big bold statement in my zone 6b/7a Virginia garden.
