Living in the Upper Cumberlands has proven to be a challenge for growing tropicals and other out of zone plants but its quite easy if you follow a few standard rules. Utilize those microclimates found around your property . Its OK to protect plants during severe winter weather events and last but not least , dont be afraid to try something different for your area or zone.
