My first garden was in Berkeley, CA. I then moved to the PNW and established my second garden in West Seattle. I focused on the rare and unusual. I pushed my hardiness range by choosing plants from Australia, New Zealand, South America, and South Africa. I then moved back to the Bay Area and started my third garden in Vallejo, CA. That didnt go far as I bought a home and moved to Concord, CA. This will be my fourth garden experience in a very different climate where summers are hot. My focus will be on fruits and vegetables, and on drought tolerant plants. Gardening feeds my soul.
