I love gardening and/or gazing at the garden. It makes me peaceful and happy. I do sometimes wish that my dreams did not require so much hard work for them to come to life.

I am currently in my sixth year of turning a unloved suburban lot into the garden of my dreams. I have a variety of micro-climates and am enjoying the transformation from a 'builders special' to 'simply wonderful'. I am organic for the most part. I mix edibles, perennials, shrubs, trees and vines in effort to create an environment of plenty rather than areas of utility. I love a natural look with depth and surprise.
