New to mountain living. Elevation 3,200 ft. Living on
seven acres. Learning how to live with deer and gophers,
etc. Have fenced approx 1/4 acre backyard and can plant
safely there away from deer. Have learned the hard way
that the unfenced front must be done with native plants,
conifers, varieties of spruce, iris and daffodils. (deer
resistant) Trying different ferns. Ready to start a new
rose garden in the backyard with O G roses.
