Collect daylily, crinum, true lily, daffodil + tubers, corms, rhizomes, bulbs, night-blooming or fragrant anything. Will rescue & recycle (almost) any plant material for public gardens/schools. Owned houseplant store in the 70's, NC MG, community/ victory garden & 4-H advocate. Was raised in the flowers: mother raised lavender, her father was glad hybridizer & grower, & his father was tulip man.
Regardless of weather, I'm in the garden. Lucky to live in this wonderful climate & be able to grow just about anything!
