I have a small city garden,therefore I am very cautious about what I put into it! I hate that you can buy the same perrennials at the big home improvement chains all over the country, what thrives in MD is not appropriate from Arizona!

I also think all responsible gardeners should boycott places like Lowes until they stop selling invasive exotic ornamentals. What on earth are they doing selling porcelain berry! ( and, no, it's not hte non-invasive hybrid) Porcelain berry has done more to ruin the native landscape in the mid-Atlantic and northeast than any other plant I can think of! ( except maybe english ivy)
